Landfilling and Processing Services for Southern Zone in Cairo
Ecaru awarded a contract for Cairo South processing & landfilling services for 10 years.
The project objective is receiving 2000-up to 3000 ton/day of Municipal, Depris and industerial ( non hazardous ) solid waste daily, collected from Southern zone of Cairo to conduct the following process:
v Sorting.
v Composting.
v Refining.
v Landfilling.
v Recycling.
The client handed over sorting & composting plants to contractor to operate and 100 feddan of land to construct the landfill. -
Operation and MaintenanceFor El- SAWANY MSW treatment plant.
In 1975 Tripoli Municipality concracted with a french company called Peabody to implement M.S.W. composting plant with capacity 500 ton/day.
The plant was delivered to client in 1986 and one of the two lines starting operation with half capacity.
In Nov. 2000, The client contracted with ECARU to operate and maintain, the plant for one year.
The work began with half plant needs rehabilitation and half only had a dry run test 15 years ago, and the reject incinerator burned as a fire once, fire accedient.
ECARU's staff has taken this challenging job and within the first 6 months all lines were working efficienctly.
The main items in the plant are:
1. Crushers . 2. Disc screen
3. Digester towers 4. Rotary screen
5. Glass grinder 6. Bagging unit
7. Scrap pressing unit.
The client renewed the contract for a second year, and since then the plant is receiving 400-500 ton/day of M.S.W,

Operation and Maintenance ... Katamiya1, 2,3 ( Cairo).
Cairo governorate has given the concession of operating 3 of M.S.W. sorting and composting plants to ECARU against monthly payment.
ECARU is receiving 480 ton/day of MSW turning organic fraction into compost, sorting of recyclables, and transferring rejects to landfill.

Technical support for operation of MSW plant in Geddah
ECARU had signed a contract with Seder Group Trading & Contracting Company for operation & maintenance of treatment plant capacities as a turnkey project.
ECARU is providing the following services: Operation & maintenance of treatment plant equipment capacities for one year.
